Increased micronuclei formation in immune cells (lymphocytes – macrophages) may be a sign of cell cycle dysfunction, cell death (apoptosis) or carcinogenesis (cancer development).
The study consists of using microscopically the number of DNA fragments present in the peritoneum (white blood cells, immune system) macro-phages of exposed animals. These micronuclei present in the cell are a possible first step in cancer processes if these abnormal cells are not eliminated by the body’s defense systems. The large number of cells with multiple DNA fragments for organisms exposed to GSM clearly shows the impact of its radiation on the fundamental level of the biological system. The clearing oscillator (CMO) reduces the formation of these micronuclei by 61%. The resulting quasi-standardization corroborates the results in Embryogenesis described later (see below).
