Melatonin is a regulating hormone of sleep and stimulatory of the immune system. It has anti-radical and anti-tumor properties. This hormone produced by the pineal gland is known to be electro-magneto-sensitive.
The virtual disappearance of the production of melatonin under electromagnetic field shows the inability of exposed animals to manage their electromagnetic stress. The resultant oxidative stress corresponds to a decrease in antioxidant activity, or an increase in the number of free radicals. It can cause multiple cell damage or even cell death. The presence of the clearing oscillator (CMO) allows to recover normal levels of melatonin.
